It is okay to feel overwhelmed and crazy sometimes, because that’s just life (and life with little ones sure brings out the ugly in this mama’s heart). It’s not okay to act as though they are the problem; my sweet babies who were born with a sin nature, just like their mama. Just like all of us (do you have it all figured out, ’cause I sure don’t!). And I have to continue to pray, seek the Lord, and press on in the hard work of discipling my babes, teaching them how to live well with others, and how to utilize self-control. I pray and pray they will know Jesus, because I know that without Him, these goals will be much, much harder to attain. And really, we will never fully achieve them on this earth, but we will have an advocate helping us, molding us, and offering grace in the broken, out-of-control places. I cannot imagine my life without God. I am a million times more a mess than my darling little ones. Oh how I need Him! Oh how they do too!
